On November 3, 2025, Director Li and Section Chief Huang from the National Water Conservation Office, accompanied by leaders at provincial and municipal levels including Director Liu of Jiangsu Provincial Water Conservation Office, Director Shi of Nantong Municipal Water Resources Bureau, and Secretary Wu of the Water Administration and Water Resources Supervision and Protection Center, visited CLM to do a special research on water-saving technology and equipment.

Their visit focused on inspecting the R&D and application of water-saving equipment for industrial laundry. CLM gave a special report on core products and technological achievements in the water-saving field, with emphasis on the star product – the tunnel washer – including its water-saving principle and outstanding performance. Through its unique dual-tank counter-current rinsing process, circulating water filtration system, and intelligent water recycling technology, laundry plants can achieve efficient water recycling. It can ensure good cleaning efficiency and stably controls water consumption per kilogram of linen to less than 5 liters. Compared with the 18 liters of water consumed per kilogram of linen by traditional industrial washing machines, the water-saving rate significantly exceeds 70%.

Subsequently, the leaders went deep into the production workshop to observe the product manufacturing process and technical details on-site.

After listening to the report and conducting an on-site inspection, leaders from the National Water Conservation Office and provincial/municipal levels highly appraised CLM’s achievements in the R&D and promotion of water-saving technologies for industrial laundry. They fully recognized the advancement and practical value of the tunnel washer in driving energy conservation and emission reduction in the laundry industry, as well as improving the efficiency of water resource utilization.

This research and guidance has injected strong impetus into CLM’s continued focus on water-saving and environmental protection technologies. In the future, CLM will continuously optimize product performance, provide more energy-efficient and high-efficiency intelligent laundry solutions for laundry factory customers worldwide, actively fulfill its corporate social responsibility, and contribute “CLM’s strength” to the national water conservation cause.
